Our mission is to help music fans discover all the kick ass bands that are too fuckin’ cool to miss. Every week we will select a band that we think you need to check out, and let them tell you why in their own words.
Blackthroat are no strangers to the indie scene. Having spent their time cutting their teeth in other bands, and playing every bar that The First State has to offer, as well as tearing up the Philly scene, Blackthroat are making waves and are ready for the rest of the world to take notice.

The WTD Interview
In an unprecidented event, I managed to interview an entire band in one shot. Blackthroat, as is turns out, are old friends of WTD through their previous band Bitter End. They’re also cronies of WTD’s official house band, Artimus Pyledriver. I really fuckin’ dig these guys, so check ‘em out, and somebody get them a goddamn record deal.
