Horns Up, Thumb Tucked!
The Devil has been reborn, and we are, once again, unleashed upon mankind!
It took a long time for us to recharge the ol’ batteries, but we’re back with a new look, a new attitude, and some new faces.
However, the WTD Mafia isn’t being completely revamped. Scott Myers, Farlus, Slette, and Josh (whom we can never seem to get rid of) are still in the family. And you never know, you just might see a few more old schoolers making appearances around here.
We’re going back to basics for WTD v2.0. We will continue to give honest reviews of current and classic albums, and we will continue to give you informative, and sometimes ridiculous, interviews with bands. You can also expect the occasional interview with internet personalities and tattoo artists that are involved in the heavy music scene. We will also be delivering more op-ed type pieces, offering our thoughts and memories on the scene, as well as special content like Ultimate Collector’s Guides and other new features.
The infamous WTD Forum is also back. We encourage everyone to register and join the mayhem. It’s free to sign up, it only takes a minute, and your information is safe with us. Unless someone offers me a fuckload of money. Then I’m selling your e-mail address, your social security number, and your first born.
We’re all very excited about this re-launch. It took some time to get it just right, and work out all the bugs. You guys need to know that none of this would have been possible without our good friend, and partner in crime, Marko “Statik Majik” Saarelainen. Some of you may know Marko from the old WTD site, The Project Hate’s official site, and Global Domination. Marko has been a big part of WTD for years, and we’d like to thank him for putting in many hours of blood, sweat, and possibly a few tears.
