It’s bad when a review needs a disclaimer. I also want to state that I did NOT get this piece of shit CD as a promo. I stole it from a store… So no need to pull me off your promo list there Metal Blade powers-that-be, like you do to other people who give bad reviews to the shit you put out.
Calennish Circle blow. They fuckin’ suck so hard Rob Halford asks them for blowjob tips. Why Metal Blade thought this band had an inkiling of talent and signed them is fucking beyond me. Whatever dumbfuck at that label signed these guys should be forced to sit through their own shitty Metal Massacre XII compilation CD until they go insane and bash their skull in with a claw hammer and then rip their own fuckin’ eardrums out from the inside.
If you see this CD at your local store, throw it on the floor and fuckin’ step on it so no one else is unfortunate enough to actually pick up this waste of fucking recording time. Stores have insurance to cover the loss so just blame it on being clumsy…
Have I even mentioned this band sounds exactly like Soilwork? They might as well be a fucking Soilwork cover band. I guess they are from the Netherlands too. Fuck bombing Iraq, we should bomb the Netherlands for producing the five goddamn idiots in Callenish Circle. I hope they die.
Besides sounding like a gay version of Soilwork, their song titles are so fuckin stupid that I’d like to kill them with my bare hands. Take “For What’s It Good For” for example, what in the sam-fucking-hell does that mean? Then there’s “The Final Swansong”. Don’t you only get one swansong? How do you have a final one if you only get one? If you’re going to do a CD with English lyrics at least have the common fucking decency to get the language right. And if you can’t figure out the language, sing in Netherland-ese or whatever the fuck it is.
Metal Blade has the shittiest roster this side of Nuclear Blast and I hope the hopelessly out of touch people who run these fuckin’ labels pull their heads out of their collective asses and sign some new bands that don’t fuckin’ suck.
