Fleshgore - Killing Absorption
- Released: 2006
- Label: This Dark Reign Recordings
- Rating:

Fleshgore is death metal. I’m sure that’s not a shock to you. This album features blasting, blasting and more blasting. It also features cookie monster vocals – that of the gurgling kind as well as that of the growling kind. Sometimes the “satan button” is on. Whatever the style, I can’t understand a word this dude is saying.
I don’t even know what any of song titles are because they weren’t provided. I’m sure it doesn’t even matter. There are plenty of “end of the world” riffs on this thing too. This thing is a veritable barrel of monkeys, that’s for sure. I outgrew this kind of stuff about 15 years ago, so I couldn’t tell you if these guys are any good or not. What I can tell you is that this has been done a bazillion times by a bazillion different bands and it’s nothing new.
This is nothing I would actually go out and purchase either. My press sheet tells me that Fleshgore is for fans of Vader, Behemoth, Skinless, Dying Fetus and Suffocation. So this, my death metal fanatics, is the barometer from which this album shall be judged, just not by me. This stuff just makes me laugh. I couldn’t even tell you if these guys have a sense of humor, but I hope they do. Thanks guys.
